Under 7s - WE 12.06.2010

The boys played a later game then our usual 9:00am starts, we played at home at 10:30am vs. Papakura a new team to our section
We are into our 2^nd week with the coach now on the sideline and this is showing to be a real test to our team with having to use listening skills
Along with ball skills and defence. The whole team got into support one another, and we saw some real improvements in some players whom normally keep quiet, so it was exciting to see more players starting to step up in their game. Our Captain for the day Daniel Smith with a wonderful hat trick, Our POD Scott McKinnon, Scott played with passion and worked well on defence. Runner Up went to Andre Luamata great running and support, Most Improved Player went to Kobe Kaiser-Day he set himself a goal to make 3 tackles in the game and achieved 8 in total, Top tacklers went to Rhythm Rhind with 12 and Scott McKinnon with 11, Well done U7s a great win against Papakura!!

We lost to a very tough side to our neighbours Ponsonby, Our boys need to work more on a solid defence line, the game was exciting with alot more confidence Kaylis Lundon putting in little grubber kicks and also with other players confidence in off loads to keep the ball moving. POD Sam Fuemana, Runner up went to Henry Silika, Most improved Denvor Elia and Top tackler with a total of 15 tackles went to Ioane Iosua.
