Karl is a hard running and tackling loose forward player. Karl had come to the Premier grade as a 17 year old playing in the stand off position in 2007. In 2008, Karl displayed his versatility as a half, and hooker. By the end of the season his work rate showed promise and he made the loose forward position his own. Karl in 2009 played a major role as a leader of the Premier grade. His pressence and in-form performances were quickly well received and he made a name for himself as a Auckland Premier grade representative. Karl is a solid player. A great leader and is an inspiration for other players in his team. Highly motivated for his Bulldogs club you will always here Karl say loudly to the boys in 2010, "All day bulldogs".
