Sports Physio

Sports Physio is a private musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic. They are ACC registered. You can see them without a referral, they will fill in all the required paperwork. If required they can refer you to a doctor, specialist, orthopaedic surgeon or radiology as appropriate.

They can assess and treat any injury, whether acute or chronic, no matter how you sustained the injury. At Sports Physio they specialise in sports related injuries.
Physiotherapy

They believe in the effectiveness of hands-on treatment, and use manual techniques such as massage and joint mobilisation and manipulation, as well as electrotherapeutic modalities such as TENS and ultrasound. Acupuncture is also available, and can be great for accelerating healing and for pain relief.

Richmond Rovers has enjoyed the support of Sports Physio since 2003 and have been very impressed with the level of care provided by Tanya Daly and her team. Richmond players receive treatment without any ACC surcharge - so treatment is usually free.
