Richmond's Young Gun and Warriors under 20s Centre Francis Leger has been a sensation since debuting for the Richmond Premier grade in 2006 alongside fellow Warriors junior recruits Manu Mau and Arden McCarthy. Francis was the Top try scorer for the Fox Memorial competition in 2007 and has already amassed 3 tries in his opening game in 2008 against 2007 Fox Memorial champions Manurewa to win the Stormont Shield for his beloved Bulldogs club and 4 tries against East Coast Bays Barracuddas before playing being promoted to his debut Warriors under 20s game against the Queensland Cowboys (20/04/08 - Draw) in which he scored.

Francis is a crowd favourite at Richmond with his patented intercept run field length trys and razzle dazzle footwork. Francis is a strong defender and is a great role model for up and coming Richmond juniors. Francis' has strong ties with the Richmond club and Solomona family which Francis continues to represent his family with distinction.
