The Richmond Rovers Rugby League club

The Richmond Rovers Rugby League Club is an Auckland rugby league club. In 2007 the Richmond Bulldogs were in the Fox Memorial, the premier division in Auckland Rugby League. In 2008, the Premier 9-a-side team placed runners up. The 2008 Premier grade finished the SAS Sharman Cup round robin in first place eventually winning the grand final.They previously were involved in the Bartercard Cup in the form of the Marist Richmond Brothers, alongside the Marist Saints. The Bulldogs were holders of the Roope Rooster Challenge Cup, defeating the Te Atatu Roosters to claim the cup. As of 9 June 2007 they had successfully defended it three times.
48 Richmond Juniors have played for the New Zealand Kiwis including Nigel Vagana, Steve Matai, David Solomona and Evarn Tuimavave. In addition 19 Richmond Roses (women) have represented the New Zealand Womens Kiwi ferns team.
Other Warriors juniors such as Wayne McDade, Francis Leger, Sione Lousi & Malo Solomona are also Richmond juniors.
